This picture was taken on a trip I made to Reptile Gardens in South Dakota. The Giant Galapagos & Aldabra Tortioses are among the oldest residents at Reptile Gardens. These turtles can live over 100 years and be over 500 pounds!
These are turtles that I have adopted from Kim's Adopt a Turtle Page. If you are interested in adopting your own turtle look for Kim's page in my Turtle Links.

I love Turtles can't you tell? I received my first Turtle from a boyfriend and every since then I have been hooked. I have received many turtles from friends and family, so many that I wonder where I will put them all. Turtles are significant in that they represent wisdom, longevity, and endurance not to mention they are pretty darn cute! I currently have two Red Eared Sliders, Waterbaby and Tinkerbell.
